The service
Fair use and acceptable use
Domestic calling and texting on paid plans are unlimited under a fair-use policy. Normal business use is never metered. The only usage we meter is AI calls, because those carry a real per-call cost.
Fair use means usage consistent with a normal service business. Auto-dialing, traffic pumping, bulk or sequential dialing, abnormal call spikes, and reselling the service are not fair use. If usage looks like that, we may apply limits, charge for the excess, or suspend the service. We give you notice and a chance to fix it first, except where a carrier or the law requires us to act immediately. This keeps the network clean for real businesses.
Messaging must follow carrier rules. No messaging without the recipient's consent and a clear opt-out. Prohibited categories, set by the carriers and not by us, include cannabis, CBD, vaping, kratom, prescriptions, gambling, adult content, alcohol, tobacco, firearms, loans and high-risk financial offers, and any fraudulent or deceptive content.
CallSpring answers inbound calls that come to your business. That is different from automated outbound dialing. Any outbound calling or texting is opt-in, requires documented consent for every contact, and must follow the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and state law. We enforce consent and opt-out on outbound campaigns. Spoofing caller ID to deceive, harassment, and using the service to break the law are never permitted. Suspected violations are grounds for immediate suspension.
